iBackPack of Texas, Inc. was created by entrepreneur, Doug Monahan. He felt there was a need for a high-technology backpack. After pulling his car over and visiting Starbucks to use their WiFi far too many times, having batteries that died on him after repeated chargings - he had enough.

We believe the iBackPack is going to revolutionize the wearable technology industry. Over 90% of students use a backpack each day and greater than 60% of business professional have switched from briefcases of the past to backpacks. We are confident backpacks with high-technology gear will eventually replace all "standard backpacks" due to the technology revolution.

Based in Austin, Texas - Mr. Monahan's foray into technology sales was with his first company Sunset Direct, Inc. In a few short years, he was able to take Sunset from 1 employee (himself) to 350.
